Remembrance of Allah is sustenance for both the heart and the spirit. Allah, the Exalted, ordered that He should be remembered a lot.
Remembrance of Allah. Dhikr is a form of worship that in importance comes only after the ritual Prayer (salah) and reading Quran. While salah has to be performed at certain times and under certain conditions of purity, dhikr can be made any time, in any place. We can Remember Allah be done by repeating certain formulas to extol and praise Allah, or it can be just thoughts of Allah in ones heart and mind.
"Those men and women who engage much in Allahs praise. For them has Allah prepared forgiveness and a great reward. Quran 33.35
Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet, peace be upon him, said, "Whoever says, La llaha illa-Allahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamd wa huwa ala kulli shaiin qadir a hundred times during a day will have a reward equivalent to the reward for freeing ten slaves. Besides, a hundred good deeds will be recorded for him and a hundred bad deeds of his will be wiped off, and it will be a safeguard for him from Satan that day until evening, and no one will be better in deeds than such a person except he who does more than that. (Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmizhi, Nasai, and Ibn Majah)
This application will cover some basic and easy ways in which we can remember Allah. This application contains some Masnoon Azkar supported by Ahadiths of our beloved Prophet Hazarat Muhammad (SAW). Remembrance of Allah is means for us to grow into Muslims of excellent character, who can make right the many wrongs in todays world, who can eventually live in a fully and truly Islamic world, and who on Judgment Day will have a very good chance of being granted entry into Paradise.
